Hi

Fantastic script! So easy to use although I'm far from a programmer and on top of it it works great!! only the thumbnail page skipping did not work for me, when I use it the pictures start disappearing in subfolder. I would have liked to skip the page.

Actually I would need some help to change the display of the Gallery. The white space on left and right could be replaced with thumbnails but I don't know how to do that with all this coding.

Can someone do this:

 4 thumbnails on the left, static ones, but with same function
 the picture in the center changing when u click on thumbs
 4 thumbnails on the right, static ones, but with same function

Like that (the smileys are the thumbs):

:D :) MAIN_
  IMAGE  :x

instead of this that is the usual display:

..........MAIN_
..........IMAGE
:D :)     :x

It would fill up the white space because the pictures are portrait pictures and I would like fill it up.

I thought of having only the main pic in an i-frame in the middle and two other i-frames on right and left with 4 pics on each. But how to implement that without loosing the automatic uploading of the thumbs on right and left. That should not be difficult for a techie but for me it's too much..

Please anyone, I would be so pleased to get some feed-back on this one.
MANY THANKS

/Frank

Hi,

skip thumbnails does not work with subfolders - I think this is as well in the description ;):

The display of the thumbs ....
No an easy change - everything on this page is done with ajax (background loading of everything in Javascript) - and for sure not with iframes ....
There is tons of generated code on this page that would had to be changed. Therefore it would only work with the html thumbnails!

- I don't have time for this - working on a backend ...

If you find someone who wants --- he can contact me for details how to do it :). If you really need this - contact me with email ...
But I cannot do this for free because I still have a fulltime job - a girlfriend ...
or wait until 1.4 is released and I get bored (and this never happend before!) and I make this a feature of 1.4.x :).

I do TWG mainly for 1am to 3am every day ;).

/Michael

Thanks for the info on thumbnails and subfolders, I just did not understand it properly from your info - not that I didn't read it... - not that it was not well written

Also I'm not quite sure from your answer, did you mean that you will implement this thumbnail organization as I suggested a possible feature for the next version 1.4 or are you just thinking about it? If so, do you have a rough idea when this version would be coming out?

And it brings me to another question that I wanted to ask before, how does it work to update the versions, do you just drop/replace with the new files et voila?

Thanks for the great work
You're the dude! 8)

Hi,

1.st I want to finish the backend that will for shure take some time - I think 3 or 4 more weeks ...

If you see it you know why ;).

I think the thumbnails to the left and right is a nice idea ...

I don't know if 4 are too much - because of the ordering ... you wrote me an email - I'll answer there because I want to make a small draft ...
