Hi Michael,

today I updated our gallery to the latest version (1.7). Now I get the following line in my debug-file

ERROR 8 in eb169/html/html/album/inc/random.inc.php, line 27: Undefined variable: twg_type

Any ideas how to solve this? (searched the forum, too)

See ya
Martin

Shit - I forgot to rename one variable in one file ...

I have updated the download - only replace the inc/random.inc.php

I don't understand why I did not get this error message because I have a random image included on my main demo gallery....

Hi Michael,

thanks a lot. I'll download the new script this evening. Do I have to update only the one file (random.inc.php)?

Greetings
Martin

are you sure you have uploaded everything?

check if the folder

album/buttons/smilies

does exist!

Ok I checked the complete folder-structure - everything seems to be where it should be.

I updated my gallery as described in your how to:
Saved my_config.php, my_styles.css, the .htusers.php in admin/_config, the counter.xml an the complete pictures folder.
Then I uploaded the complete extracted files of your zip. Today I uploaded the complete /inc directory

Another strange thing: there is a file called 256 (907 bytes) in the album directory. Is it generated by twg - because this wasn't in your zip-file.

You may check the album at #removed_broken_link

I found the problem.

The gd lib is not recognized properly on your server

#removed_broken_link

it shows 0

your server tells 2.0 or higher. my parser does not know how to parse this.

i'll try to find a workaround for this!

Sorry Michael, that my installation is making so much difficulties.

I uploaded the new info.php you sent to me - no success. I'm making a ticket at my webhoster but I can't tell how long it will take to get an answer.

See ya

this won't help you here!

i only have to find out, what your server returns.
i'll send you a info.php with a little debug info.
