How can I display folders in a choosen order ?
I tried using in every folder a "foldername.txt" containing the desired name preceded by a number (eg "1 fistFolder", "2 secondFolder", etc ..), but it does not work.

if course not - use the names of the real folders for sorting - and foldername.txt for the display name.

Thanks Michael.
Does the hiding prefix mechanism described in howto 6 ("... If you use a prefix in the following format then this is automatically removed: 001___ 002___ ....) works also for directories or only for files ?

Hmm... i am not sure about this; see:

I used foldername.txt with this scheme:

And this seems not working.

think about a little bit - why should this work in foldername.txt?
read howto 6 - Think again ;).
