Hi,

When playing videos pre 1.7, the size used to scale to that specified in my video.php. Now the video is scaled at 100%. Is there a further option in the video.php to enable the scaling again?

my video.php file contents

<?php
$video_size_x=800;
$video_size_y=670;
$video_player="WMP";
$video_autostart=true; // true or false works!
$video_show_dl_link=true; // true or false works
?>

my website: www.markypea.com

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

it's scaled to 100%?

I only set the size of the player - that's it.
Is it displayed bigger or smaller?

I mean that the video is displaying at it's original size. Maybe I am mistaken, I have some videos that are 320x240, but when I set the video size in the video.php file they were scaled to fit the WMP window. If nothing has changed with the code for this then it could quite possibly a change with WMP and then don't worrk.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I have to try this. There are many options you can set vor WMP

if you open js/twg_image.js and search for

getWMP you see all the options.

Which browser are you using? because this is very important.

Hi,

I've tried it with Firefox and IE7, still no luck.

My wife commented on why I had changed the setting as she was looking at a video at work, so I can assume that it is not a setting on my machine's WMP.

Hi,

Sorry I keep taking so long to reply, life is so hectic at the moment I keep forgetting!

One of the videos is at:
http://www.markypea.com/pictures/014___ ... Lovely.wmv

and the video is in the same place

#removed_broken_link

Does that help?

It is the one that i posted already.

Sorry, I am at work and they severely limit what we can download. I also will not able to check if it works for me until I get home in a few hours. But suffice to say if it works for you, then it will probably work for me. :D

all right - found it and now I know why I changed it.

Resize is only implemented properly in IE! If I use the same settings for Firefox it looks very bad (2 times the width than the height).

you can open js/twg_image.js and search for AutoSize

and set the value to 4 (this means to strech it). Under IE it is great - but in Firefox it sucks.

I really recommend that you simply use flv player - then you get nice streaming as well! i'll add the restriction for WMP to the FAQ.

I have changed the js file to be:

doc += " displaysize='0' autosize='4' stretchToFit='1' showcontrols='1' showtracker='1' showstatusbar='1' ";

still the same, anything else I need to change?

As ever thank you for your time and assistance Michael.
