Hi I get this error message in my browser:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 40 seconds exceeded in /mounted-storage/home91c/sub001/sc39103-BTMH/www/inc/filefunctions.inc.php on line 213

I update TWG to the last version and the problem still, if I refresh the page after 1 or 2 minutes it show, I dont know how to fix it!!

It seems the problem is the following:

you have ~ 100.000 images in the gallery. TWG needs to scan all directories first to count all images. Scanning the 100.000 images seems to need longer than 40 sec.

This information is stored in the cache in the cache directory. An this cache is refreshed every time you upload new images or all 4 hours (this number can be increased to 24 h max). Therefore the first user is the one that has to wait until the cache is build (if it is build...)

What you can do: increase the execution time + the cache time that the cache is not refreshed that often.
Or disable the display of the number of images that are in each folder.

This brings me to a good idea. I do the same with the album tree. I only show it when the cache is build and if not I don't show it for the first user and build it it the background. I'll put this on my todo list for the next version.

Hi, tks for the answer, so how I can do those things??

In the server right now I have something like 40 GB and I have in my computer more than 300 GB waiting to be uploaded.... (I dont know how many images, but they are a lot...)

Another question, is possible to make something than peple pay in paypal and then they have access to zip files in some part of the gallery?? like an user administration or something..??

You could use private galleries or for zips you have to do some coding of course.

Hi again, now I have this error:

I install the new version with the installer, tks!!

Seems like during unzipping a file was not properly extracted.

Simply retry or extract index.php manually and overwrite the one on the server.

I just tested this with the installer of TWG 1.7.5 I downloaded 3 minutes ago .

Have you modified something?

I have tested with the latest version you can download. If you get this error TWG should not even display the first page properly.

If the extraction does not work properly simply use the zip version and copy the file that has the problem manually to your server.

But you where running TWG before. Was the error there too?

I have sent you the patch for 1.7.5.1 which I tested and works fine for me.
Are you sure you have updated all files?
