Simply read the text on the main side of the demo gallery:

"In the overview.htm you can place messages or ad's like below. Or you can also display a random image there."

For the ad's in the backend you need to register!

The ads in the overview are not related to what this user (and myself) are asking about. The "ads in the backend" I presume is what you're refering to that we're wanting to remove. They're the google adbar on the front page.

However, I've never come across anything in the agreements about having to keep the ads there, only the link back to TWG. I will continue borrowing through the code until I find a way to remove these or until someone one here either tells me how or points me to the agreement where the ads must be there.

I do plan on eventually supporting this gallery once I come across some spare money and presuming my images and such get at least a few views =]

The guy who started the tread was asking for the one on the frontend:

But I think removing the ad's in the backend should not be the motivation to support this project.
I won't tell you how to remove them because they are automatically removed if you register and they are actually really easy to remove.

I would like to have everything completely free but the donations don't even cover the expenses I have. And therefore I implemented the bonus features like the Flash Uploader and the Flash thumbnail strip. You can dig around and if you want to have something similar like this you have to pay quite some money.

Oh, removing the ads are not reason to support at all. I'd support just because I quite like the software. The removal of ads is just a small bonus. I'm just rather broke but with some spare time to dig through your code for the location of the ad's link. =P
