Hi TinyWebGallery,

When I tried to upload a file that is larger than 100 MB, I always get this error: Retry failed. Please check your timeouts

Is there a way I could fix this?

uploading small files are ok.

My JFU backend
PHP upload limit (in KB): 2048000
PHP memory limit (in KB): 262144
Max. resize resolution: ~ 7723 x 5799
PHP max input time: 7200 s

php.ini
upload_max_filesize = 2000M
post_max_size = 2000M
memory_limit=256M
max_input_time=7200
max_execution_time = 7200
default_socket_timeout=7200
register_globals = off;
PHP max execution time: 7200 s
Default socket timeout: 7200 s

Most likely this is a limit of the server itself (not php). Have you checked howto 4 about the restrictions of Apace or IIS ?

Check the server log files if you get any messages there.

How long does the upload take until it fails.

I am using Joomla 1.5.9, JFU 2.9

I was trying to upload 150 MB of zip file
and I get there following errors;

About 30 seconds, I get this error

44 seconds later
'Retry 2 of filename.zip. Retry 2 of filename.zip. Retry 2......................
20 second later
'Retry 3 of filename.zip. Retry 3 of filename.zip. Retry 3.......................
20 second later
Retry failed. Please check your timeouts

ups - seems I have forgot the reset the error.

you can check the server logs if you see something there.

There might be something to do with Session as tfu.log said
"Session data could no be restored"

do you have a folder called sesion_cache? delete it.

There was only once a session parameter missing I check to make sure the session is the one TFU has stored. This can happen if a session times out or something like that.

With the log I mean your web server log. Not the tfu log.
