How would I add a link to another folder and file under the administrators area. I would like to move a folder on my site to the admin folder and link to a file in it Please be specific on how to
Image

Thanks

Found this in menu.php
echo "<br/><a href='" . $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] . "?action=Venues_view=true'>" . $GLOBALS["menu_messages"] ["SQL"] . "</a>";
I copied the line from else where in the file and tried changing action= and["sql"] It shows the link in the right spot but when click it doesnt do anything
Also added "SQL" => "Edit Venues", in the en.php file

Adding is simple.

echo "<br/><a href='" . $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] . "?action=Venues_view'>your link name</a>";

but you should add the div around to make it look nice:

echo "<div class='leftmenudiv'>";
echo "<a href='" . $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] . "?action=Venues_view'>your link name</a>";
echo "</div>";

that it does anything you have to implement something it should do. And what should
action=Venues_view=true
be

Guess Im missing something, it doesnt open the Venues_view.php page
the page is in a differant directory under the admin dir as well if that would make a differance. also I think maybe it should open in new window.
But it does look nicer it match the other links :D

You don't understand how this works.

if you define action=Venues_view

why should if open Venues_view.php?
The actions are implemented actions of the administration. You would have to add an action Venues_view that something happens.
Try to understand how it works then you will get it work ;).

Well I got the page to show, but it doesnt showup right
the address bar is photogallary/admin/venues/Venues_view.php/photogallary/admin/Venues_view.php
should be photogallary/admin/venues/Venues_view.php in order to show the images and use the style.css that it has. ???

You could show me what to do, then maybe I would understand it and not ask the same ? time and time again :cry:
Im just screwing up other stuff by hunting and pecking then I have to figure out what I messed up and fix that :oops:

I already told you what to do. The next option is that I do it for you.

The point is that I provide a lot of free support in the forum but I spend most of my free time by supporting users and have to live too (it's actually 0:30 am here in Germany right now).

If I should do it for you please contact me by e-mail and I make an offer for you.
