Hi !

I registered the JFU a moment ago, and i'm trying to work with.
I have safe mode on, but i didn't have a problem installing this component or any other.

But i'm getting the error:

"The folder has no write permissions (+ safemode is enabled). All actions are disabled."

"You don't have permissions to create directories. This function is disabled."

I can upload images, but i can't delete them. I can't create a folder too.

I tried to follow your help when having a safe-mode on server, but i didn't have problems with the installations. It's only on this specific.

On configuration i have to create folder with 2777 and files with 0644.
The folders i tried to create are inside folders with 2777 permission.

I'm using latest version of joomla and JFU too.

How can i solve this problem ?

go into the TFU directory and set

$enable_dir_create_detection=false;

in tfu_config.php.

But be aware. The problem is not creating directories but uploading files into this directories. This is why I disable this then.

Thanks, that worked fine.

The only problem is that he changes the owner of the file, but that's typical on Joomla. The permissions doesn't work 2777 but works 777, and that's ok too.
