Hello Michael,

Sorry your written directions are a bit difficult to follow, but I almost have it except, I am having issues with generating a shortcode that will open a new window..

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2GpBzfzZ4swUElKWkZmT0FvQjg/view?usp=drivesdk
Code:
[advanced_iframe securitykey="78a265cad067cb44d614bcc6b59fe13bc0d8214e" use_shortcode_attributes_only="true" src="http://www.kartsociety.org/news/ec" width="375" height="899" id="advanced_iframe" show_part_of_iframe="true" show_part_of_iframe_x="10" show_part_of_iframe_y="337" show_part_of_iframe_width="343" show_part_of_iframe_height="599" show_part_of_iframe_allow_scrollbar_vertical="true" change_iframe_links_target="_blank" ]

What am I doing wrong? Pls help.

You wrote you are on the same domain. Why do you use "Show only a part of the iframe"? Would it not be better to directly hide the elements you don't want?

And about the links

You have set change_iframe_links_target only. The documentation there says: "Here you define the targets for the links you define in the setting before."

Therefore you also need to set "change_iframe_links" as there you define the elements ahere you want to change the targets. The simplest setting for all links is change_iframe_links="a"

Best, Michael

I do not really understand how this works? So I am using the wrong section to generate the shortcode? Can you tell me what steps I should take to configure my i-frame or is this written somewhere?

I don't know what you want to do/show.

For most setups there is a demo (http://www.tinywebgallery.com/blog/adva ... e-pro-demo) which shows everything with a working shortcode ;).

So changing links are here:
http://www.tinywebgallery.com/blog/adva ... argets#e10
But I have already written in the last post what you have to add: change_iframe_links="a"

Hidding stuff on the same domain can be seen here:
http://www.tinywebgallery.com/blog/adva ... iframe-2-0
So the important shortcode for you is: hide_elements

This is much more flexible that showing only a part of an iframe as you as this works for responsive sites as well and also if you want to use auto height.

All shortcode parameters are explained in the administration. And if you only have one iframe you can set them all there.

It is important that you start simple and than add additional features as most of them work independently!

Best, Michael
