Dear Michael

I try to install TWG on a another server. I buy a new license
when I can see its runing.

I wonder what kind of rights files and folders needs. But not on a UNIX-server.Its a IIS-server. Not CHMOD. I mean for the IUSER.

Write
Append
Delete
Execute

Directories
List
Make
Remove

I got green everywhere in TWG-admin/Permissions. But stil I got this:

I also got this on the index-file:

FEHLER: Datei xml/Bilder1_image_text.xml can not be created. If this error occurs more than once please check your directory permissions!

That folder got write rights.

seems iis returns not the correcty premissions.

you need read/write permission in the counter, xml and cache folder for the php user

and read on the cache folder for everyone.

Why is this happening?

you don't have permissions to write in the counter folder - you have to change the permissions there!

I have added this in the beginning because TWG needs this directories later to store data there.

One more issue.
I try to include a video from another site.
Its:
#removed_broken_link
I dont want it to be on my webspace.
I also want WMP be the player.
How do I do that?

rotate permanently - login in in the frontend - rotate the image - logout

About wmp include - remote streams and wmv files are possible with the latest version (1.5.4).

But there is now howto yet how to do this .

in short - the video_flash_site has to be set to "http://"

and the filename of the preview image is the path to the file - but all / replaced by ___


the folder has to be writeable depending on your system because wmp creates a playlist file depending on the stream.

How do you mean "Log in to frontend"?
Do you mean "Log in" on the index page at the uper right corner?
Do you mean "Rotate the image" with the arrows like a circle?

In video.php I got this:

And the stuff below does not work because you have version 1.5.2 and you need at least 1.5.4.

I have tested you settings and they work.

OK, I see. Strange, I start this work for 9 days ago and I dont have the latest version. Do I have pay new money now? Is it easy to upgrade?

I got version 153 by the way.

This is actually a feature of 1.6 and I only added this to 1.5 because of an small fix for safari on Mac.
This is why there is no documentation for this either. And 1.6 is not
planned for this year - to many things to do .

and yes update is easy simply overwrite the old install - store your settings in my_config.php, my_style.css and the userfile first and then copy them back - that's it.

I discoved one problem though. When I under the videowindow
click om "Download" the tumbnail pictures comes instead of
the video file(video.wmv). Any soloution?

But my twg.lic.php dont work anymore. Do I really have to buy
a new licence. I thought I got the latest version. I bought my
licence yesterday?

about the download - I think this isn't covered yet with streams - i'll put this on my todo list.

about the license - of course not - the license is valid for all upgrades that may come.

I have some problem on my local system with the license too - when I use Firefox everything is fine - but with ie i only get a blank window with an error that the page cannot be loaded.

do you have the same behavior? I'll try to find the problem today.

Hi,

I found the problem - When you add the license file the lighbox script is activated. I changed the initialization time of the script that it is responding earlier - This worded great with FF - but IE does not like that and crashes.

I changed the place where I initialize the lightbox script and everything works now fine again.

I think you have to update again .
You'll get an email for a new feature I have added in this update as a small bonus for this problem.
