Hello

How/where do I change the meta tag info on the main (overview) page, the detail page, the image page and the topx page?

I have hunted around but I can't seem to find it.

Thanks again.

config file - $metatags

you can specify your own there - the existing ones are hardcoded.

Hello,

Thanks for the answer.

When I do it I get meta-tags that look like this:

<meta name="author" content="Michael Dempfle" >
<meta name="DC.Identifier" content="http://www.tinywebgallery.com" >
<meta name="keywords" content="TinyWebGallery, php, images, image, gallery, pictures, web, image gallery, web gallery, galery, Bilder, Bildergalerie, gallerie, imagegallery, webgallery, easy to install, xml, title, titel, comments, kommentare, drehen, rotate, slideshow" >
<meta name="keywords" content="'META NAME=TITLE CONTENT=Test 123','META NAME=DESCRIPTION CONTENT=Test 123','META NAME=KEYWORDS CONTENT= test 123" >
<meta name="robots" content="index,follow,all">

All of mine (test 123) are on the same line and yours are still there?
Obviously I am doing something wrong.
Can you give me an example of the syntax I am supposed to use on that line?

I am going to keep playing with it at this end too.

Thanks again.

Hello,

Thanks for taking the time to look into it.

Although having mixed meta tags makes things a little tricky.
Do you think we can find a solution to make the meta tags less mixed?

Thanks again

Hi,

Just tested - works for me - what have you added?

my entry looks like this:

$metatags="123,12345";

and then in the html:

<meta name="keywords" content="123,12345" >

(+ the twg keywords before)

/Michael

Hello,

I was under the impression that I could add more then just the keyword meta tag.
The addition of all the meta tags was causing the problem.
If all I add is the keyword tag it works fine.

The larger issue is having irrelevant metag tags on the page.
Forcing a hard link I can understand, but forcing meta tags?
I don't think that works very well SE wise.
Anyway....let me know what you think. No rush.

Thank you very much, as always, for your help.

SE?

And no one stops you from changing the existing tags ...

In my local build is even this way that if you specify your own that the other ones are not insterted anymore.

Hello,

So if I insert all new meta tags the others are not supposed to appear?
That changes everything :)

Is there an order to inserting them?

When I do it and actually use the tag name I get the strange tags as you saw in the first post.

Can you give me another example?

Right now my tags look loke this:
<meta name="author" content="Michael Dempfle" >
<meta name="DC.Identifier" content="http://www.tinywebgallery.com" >
<meta name="keywords" content="TinyWebGallery, php, images, image, gallery, pictures, web, image gallery, web gallery, galery, Bilder, Bildergalerie, gallerie, imagegallery, webgallery, easy to install, xml, title, titel, comments, kommentare, drehen, rotate, slideshow" >
<meta name="keywords" content="123,12345" >
<meta name="robots" content="index,follow,all">

The one in bold is the new one, inserted according to your example, in the config.php file

Please let me know how I can fix this.

Thanks again for your time and effort.

only at my local build - there you can even ad a meta tag description ;).

Right now open inc/header.inc.php and change it by yourself - it's very easy ;).

Hello Michael

:D You da' man! :D

Meta tags have been changed.

Thank you so much for your help.

Everything works perfect.

I am going to finish the style sheet changes now and it's just about ready to roll.

How much does it cost to register in U.S. dollars via PayPal?

Thanks again

Hello,

I went to register but the Paypal link is in German and unfortunately my German is not as good as your english.

Can you give me a Paypal address and I will send payment of 12 US dollars through my english side using the TWG registration number that was generated.

Thanks
