I have succeeded in integrating the TWG 1.2 in the CMS-system CMSimple ( http://www.cmsimple.dk )

The result can be seen at http://www.hsf-1919.dk/?Havefotos

I have been forced to elliminate the advanced scrolling panel, as it would mess with the width of my template. Is there a way of making the scrolling area smaller, so it covers only 2-3 pictures instead of 5!

I think this involves a bit of corrections in a javascript, but unfortunately I know nothing about this.

Can anyone help me out?

Hi,

the problem is easy in the html part - there you only have to change a couple of lines.

But the dhtml part ...
I calculate every position of the dhtml navigation - I can take a look and see - but this can not be included in 1.2 anymore ...

Maybe 1.3 .... :).

go to the inc/index.inc.php and search for
$numberofpics=2;
change this to
$numberofpics=1;

should be in there 2 times - the html part has 3 images then.

I have made the proposed corrections, with no effect.

Seems I have to wait for the 1.3

Otherwise I am very satisfied with the gallery.

Still the most easy to manage!

This does only work for the html solution!

Not for the dhtml. You have to switch to the html navigation in the config.php or the options

But I have taken a closer look in the dhtml part - it's not that hard to do - only lots of places I have to change something ;).

OK. Guess I have understood it now. Don't use too much time with the corrections, the gallery fully fits my needs as it is. The rest is only to brush it up! Thanks for your time. :D

I am satisfied with the functionality of the gallery as it is, but it would be nice, if I could use "the arrow-up" key to go back in the tree-structure. Is that difficult to impliment?

No - but time consuming :) because it has to be done at several places and for several browsers.

I can do this on my todo for 1.3.

Hi,

congratulations to your integration in CMSimple. I´m using CMSimple for some days now and would like to integrate TWG there as well.
Could you give me some information on how you did it?

Thanks for your help

Matthias

It's really quite simple.

1. First make a folder named e.g. gallery and upload the TWG to this folder.
2. Log in to your admin-area and make a <H1> headline e.g Gallery. Save it.
3. Edit the Gallery page, which now contains only the headline.
4. Switch to HTML-mode and add the following:

<IFRAME src="http://www.yourdomain.com/gallery/index.php?noborder=true" frameBorder=0 width=540 height=600> </IFRAME>

path to gallery needs to be absolute!

Switch back to layout-mode. (the gallery should appear) Remember to save!
Of course you can alter the width and height of the IFRAME to your own needs.

The procedure is described in the CMSimple howto's

That should do it! :D
