you can use captions for every image.
If you want to e.g. display more text left and right of the pictures you can do this by using image.txt (image.php that loads the new text). But you have to switch to html mode for this because this need page reloads.

Found some examples in the application.
Wondering about the explaination:

The files image.php, image2.php, Dill.jpg.txt, Sabrina.jpg.txt, my_config_image.php shows
how you can write individual text for each image. Copy the files to the Domai folder to
see how it works and looks like.

Q - what is the 'Domai folder'?

There is no demo yet - I have only done this for y couple of people.

For 1.6 i want to redesign all the demos - There you can always doenlaod the whole folder with all settings - but I'm starting with this right now.

I'm testing php include for 1.6 right now. It takes for use a while until this is done.

What you have to do ist easy.

ude the image.php from the examples folder. set the config the image.php is used. set TWG to html mode. create a <imagename>.txt for each file you want to display extra data. That's it.

I went to the examples folder and copied image.php it to the directory that the picture and text file with the same 'name' .jpg.txt

e.g

name.jpg - image
name.jpg.txt - text file

changed $image_file_extension from txt to php in config file

changed to html mode in admin

stil not displaying text detail anywhere (i have a black skin - could that be the problem?) :?

black skin can only be a problem that you don' see the text you insert -

Wait until I have done the 1.6 demos - I make downloadable examples of this kind of features - Then you can download and adopt the example to your needs.

Any errors in the debug file?

Or you figure it out by yourself ;).

What I am trying to do is have images in a directory with individual detail for each picture. Once I figure out how to do one, then I can duplicate the effort for all the pictures transfer the knowledge to all the directories that I want details for the pics.

Currently I am not seeing anything - I'll try changing the skin to white to see if it makes any difference.

Thanks.

Once I get any detail working I can play with the positioning if I read your instructions properly. Most impt is to get individual details per image. If caption works, can it be on a per image basis?
