Although Google doesn't claim to use much meta data there are many search engines that do.

It would be cool if TWG could somehow generate meta descriptions and keywords at least unique to albums, and perhaps going as far as for separate images.

Perhaps drawing from user added captions/descriptions/comments or IPTC data for images and other gallery items.

For albums unique static meta info would be useful.

AFAIK the $metatags and $metadescription although very handy, are limited to the [my_]config.php and as such are the same for all areas of the site.

right now you cannot do this - the problem is that I do write the metadata at the beginning - not when the images are read.

you can only use custom config.php for each directory - then you have at least different meta tags for each folder.
