Hello everybody,

first i have to thanks for TWG it´s a really really great tool!

i have just converted to 1.6.3.
i didn´t convert my old comments - i just re-wrote them in the new gallerie (only about 100 pics) after making a mistake I deletes one comment with little X after logging on to the OPTIONS.

after that I mentiond that every comment in the folder was deleted.
I took a look to the XML-files -> they were empty too (had a back up - lucky me)
possibly a BUG or aspecial-feature of the free-version

greetz to all twg users

Hi,

It's definitly not a feature of the free version - I'll take a look.
Did you get any debug in the log file?

from which version have you updated?
I have just deleted a couple of comments without problems but I will check this in more detail tonight.

Can you rebuild the problem? (backup the xml files before ;).)
How may comments where for this pictures before deleting?

/Michael

Hello Michael

thanks for the fast replay

first - i copied my whole site from lokal to a developing space on the webserver (including all XMLs and Cache-PICs)
then I tried a couple of combination deleting comments

everthing I tried worked FINE! so i doesen´t seems to be a bug
so sorry for pulling some more grey hairs :-)
tonight I will test if I can rebuild the problem on the my home server
If not (think so) I will close this Topic

By the Way:
- no debuging file was created
- updated from 1.5 (or 1.5.5?) to 1.6.3
- Options - Bildunterschrift = ja
- Options - Comments = ja
