I'm bored and curious, I wonder if anyone's got me beat in terms of the number of images that they're passing through the Tiny Web Gallery script.

So far, I'm at 28,720, and still going. =D
edit: now at 31,888
edit: and again, at 33387 and holding

Yea, still fast, other than I have a high number of preload images that kind of bogs down the load time, but that's to be expected.

The image at the bottom says 1.6, but the admin section says 1.62, I can't find any other build number.

if you go with the mouse over the tw logo you get the exact version number - but 1.6 is fine - it's the most optimized version ;).

ahh, yep, it said "TWG 1.6.2"

I considered tweaking the admin section for the microtime that it waits before it generates the cached images, but figured I shouldn't bog down my server too much, but as it stands I've got about 4 hours worth of "cached image creation" time.

I was really tempted to, but I decided not to. I didn't want to bog the system down, like when I wrote a renegade script that I couldn't terminate, that was going to take approximately 3 months to complete.

I was trying to build an md5 database, so I figured I'd do it manually, and started with integers, and in php, told it to increment the number, calculate the hash of it, then increment the number, and do it again.

... only I set it too high, and it wouldn't let me terminate the script.

yah know.. too high like. 100 billion.

Heh. Heheh. They got a wee mad at meh.

then I still win ;). I have generated a demo gallery for testing with ~ 200.000 images. But only around 50 different ones ;).

Everything works still fine here exept the Javascript Album Explorer because the browser simply take too much time to render the tree!
It's generated in less than a secound but the browser rendering is simply tooooo slow ;).

Have fun using TWG ;).

You simply store them in folders and they are displayed like this.
