I see now that it has been registered, there's a menu on the left that can be opened for access to all the folders, how can I make it so that this left menu will automatically open along on loading the first page?

(and if possible, not on any subsequent pages, but JUST the index page?)

there is an option in the config

album_tree_default_open

it opens then at the first call.

$autoclose_tree defines if the tree stys open or colse after the 1st click. Always to open it on the index page only is not possible.

The tree has a pin in the right upper corner where you can make it "sticky"

Well, as much as I was truly hoping to use it, I'm gonna have to disable it.. because it seems to reload itself everytime the page loads, making the page's load time up to about 7-15 seconds a page, and that's just no fun.

it only load once if the cache is on -

it's stored in the _cache_jstree_<language>.tmp.php - Check if this file exists.

In what directory would that be located at?

on the root directory there is no such file, and the cache directory doesn't seem to have any other folders in it.

It's in the cache folder.

Which version are you using exactly? because the enhanced caching is quite new.

version 1.6.2 if I remember right

I had decided to skip 1.7 rev 3, and was going to wait until it entered final before I did the whole swap / start over. Is that what I need to do, is use the dtree.js inside of the 1.7 architecture for it to run more smoothly?

this should be the same - the caching is done in php - wait until 1.7 is ready and make a update then.
