Then check if you have created the license properly. Without returns and spaces before and after the <?php ?>

Delete the license file and enter the data in the JFU backend on the help/register page and retry.

I tested it again before re-entering the license and it worked..

here's everything that happened

I had tested with it before putting the license in worked fine.

After I put the license in I uploaded an 88mb file, almost immediately after the upload started the email came and it said:

The following files where uploaded by chris:

Please check your setup. No files where uploaded.

But the file continued to upload and then eventually said completed. But no file on the server.

I then tried small files and they wouldn't go either and got no emails.

then finally as I said in the beginning I just tried it and it worked and sent me an email.

BTW I have put the license in form the backend under register as you requested.

have you tried to upload the same file with and without registration file?

Because during the upload the license file is not used anywhere!

Maybe your server limits are somewhere the problem.

So small files work but bigger not?

What are the server settings you see on the help/registration.
The license file does not affect once the upload is started.

Do you have a log file? in the tfu/ folder of the component? tfu.log

php_value upload_max_filesize "100M"

in my htaccess, is that line correct?

The syntax is normally without "

php_value upload_max_filesize 100M

Have you set the maximum upload size in JFU manually in the profile?

But I don't know if your server allows to change the values this way.
