I want to set it so that there is only 4 pictures in a row on the gallery display page (the thumbnails) but cannot do it, i have tried:

changing $thumbnails_x = 6 to $thumbnails_x = 4

dont know what else to do, and when i changed the $thumb_pic_size to 180 it seemed to work, there was 4 in a row, but then when i viewed an image, the sliding gallery viewing thing under it was far too big, it also changed size and i dont want it to.

Anyone know how i can set it to 4 thumbnails per page at 120 x 120px

Nevermind, i managed to resolve the problem by setting the $autodetect_maximum_thumbnails command to false
